I am an illustrator and printmaker, originally from Iran and now based in the UK.
My work combines elements of Persian calligraphy, storytelling, text, and touches of humour. Using a unique creative process, with handmade traditional Persian calligraphy pens and a blend of mark-marking styles, I create both small, intimate pieces and large-scale murals.
Wonderland shares the story of my own personal journey as a refugee.

Sometimes I will also combine elements from classical Western paintings with Eastern stories or imagery.
