Mahboobeh Rajabi

"I am an artist and my art aims at unfolding untold/hidden stories using different art forms. I create digital art, film, performance and I write, to use any form that give wings to my artwork to be receive by audience. I worked both in the UK and internationally such as European Cultural Foundation, World Health Organisation and Japan Society."

"My recent project (2018) with Journeys Festival International was the talk for Art after the revolution in IRAN' at Manchester People History Museum. I was one of the 3 artists in the panel to talk about how art changes after the revolution in 1979 in Iran. How different prospectives, beliefs and politics impacted arts and artists in Iran. I also share my practice and projects with the audience and we had Q&A."
Mahboobeh also participated in the Ancient Objects New Writing project in 2018. Ancient Objects New Writing tasked four artists to create responses to four artifacts from the Manchester Museum and to perform those responses at four libraries across the city.
