Pamodzi Creatives facilitates creative collaborations with an educational or social justice theme.
Pamodzi means together; our mission is to bring the diverse communities of Portsmouth together through creative and celebratory projects that focus on themes such as social action, social justice, equity of treatment and inclusion. Currently, our main project is the Inspirational Women of of Portsmouth project and Award night which ultimately seeks to support the work of PARCS (Portsmouth Abuse & Rape Counselling Service) charity. The project includes short films, story telling events and a podcast stream. Additionally to this Pamodzi is collaborating with the Dad's Club on a short film about men's mental health and is also exploring how schools can be supported in both creative transitions and raising aspirations through our #whoinspiresyou schools work project.
Working with Journeys Festival International Pamodzi Creatives developed and delivered a story telling project. Working alongside the British Red Cross, the project specifically worked with community groups at risk of isolation and aimed to explore the theme 'overcoming'
