Maliheh is an Iranian-Irish mixed media artist who creates beautifully intricate photo collages using old photographs, which are overlaid with painted symbols and motifs to explore identity, culture and memories. 

For Journeys Festival International, Maliheh will be running an advanced live workshop for adults and artists. 

Please check this list for the materials you will need – some are quite specific so you may need to order a couple of things to follow Maliheh’s techniques (they are cheap and readily available online and in art shops). If you can’t get hold of something on the list don’t worry, please just join the workshop with what you have!
