Stand and Be Counted are the UK’s first Theatre Company of Sanctuary and Resident Company at Theatre in the Mill, Bradford.
Where We Are is a new documentary film that responds to their acclaimed touring show ‘Where We Began‘. An urgent portrayal of life in the UK for many migrants and sanctuary seekers. Tafadzwa Muchenje, who successfully appealed a Home Office decision to deport him but still remains in limbo, reveals the impact that an admin error had on his life and how he and his friends and family continue to fight injustice. Where We Are is made in collaboration with filmmaker Smart Banda.
