DANCE AWAY THE SPIDERS
CO-PRODUCED BY SHEBA ARTS AND ARTREACH
Dance Away The Spiders explores repression, resistance, trauma and immigration from the perspectives of a group of young refugee women.
This performance is a celebration of the participants’ home nations and different cultures. Using visual art, textile art, dance and movement, Dance Away The Spiders creates a liberating performance for both participants and audience members to enjoy.
As part of the development of this new work, the women will take part in a five-day Performance Lab at HOME led by Emmanuel Bajiiji.
