Think that this current situation won’t last forever, and keep your creative activity at home with any materials and tools that you have in hand. In my case, I’m playing setar and working with collage a lot.
In this video, I’m playing instrumental classical Iranian music with a setar (the instrument I’m using). This music reminds me of Iran and the students I taught there, which brings me very good memories and an amazing feeling of love.
I have over 35 years of experience in all of the artistic fields mentioned before. I studied at the University of Music in Iran. I have published 6 books in different languages, and presented work in many art organisations in the UK such a HOME, Manchester Art Gallery, Journeys Festival International and CAN. I’m also part of CIWA (Centre for International Women Artists).
