Student Film Callout for Journeys Festival International - Portsmouth

Journeys Festival International is an exciting multi-artform festival that celebrates the creative talents and experiences of refugee and asylum seeker artists. The Festival will run in Portsmouth 19th – 28th October and we’re looking for University of Portsmouth film students to help make this year’s festival as great as 2017! We’re after short films, no longer than five minutes in length, to be submitted to Journeys Festival International to be in with a chance to be screened during the Festival as part of a short film evening. Manchester - ROOTS Group Members Needed

Journeys Festival International are looking for people to join their ROOTS Consultation group to advise on the development of Journeys Festival International in Manchester. Journeys Festival International (JFI) is a multi-art form festival that supports refugee and asylum seeker creatives to develop their artistic careers and to share their wonderful skills with the communities of Manchester and beyond. The festival started in Leicester 5 years ago and now takes place in Portsmouth and Manchester too. Our aim is to build a programme of creative activities for the festival, which celebrate the exceptional creative talents of refugee and asylum seeker artists, and to make it accessible to all.
