Two cultures collide and form an unlikely alliance to challenge hatred and fear.

Hidden is set on a beach on Hayling Island one cold February day. It’s the story of Alix, a white British 14-year-old girl, and Samir, a young Iraqi refugee. After a racist incident leads to the two becoming friends, we watch their friendship grow as they encounter a stranger in the sea and are faced with making some tough decisions between what’s morally right and the rule of law.

ArtReach is also taking activity into local schools in partnership with Portsmouth Guildhall and with support from the Ernest Cook Trust and Hornpipe Arts for Schools.
