Join ArtReach (East Midlands Co-ordinators of the Platforma Network) to celebrate Refugee Week 2016.

VOICED will showcase talented musicians and spoken word artists from across the East Midlands, all coming together in support of the refugee community. This will also provide an opportunity to learn more about the forthcoming Journeys Festival International in Leicester, a Festival and programme of events which provides a platform for talented artists, extraordinary musicians and inspiring creatives from the refugee community.

Performers include:

Haiki – blending soul and jazz sounds deriving from Ethiopia

Marcus Joseph - resonating rhymes and smooth saxophone

Poetry from Bobba Cass, Ambrose Musiyiwa and readings from the poetry anthology, ‘Over Land Over Sea – Poems for those seeking refuge’… and many more!
