Manchester: Let's Go Fly A Kite

September 26, 2016

As part of the Manchester events, Journeys Festival International will be hosting a series of digital and hands on kite workshops on Saturday 01 October - THIS weekend! It's a great way to spend your weekend with the family, and get young and old generations learning about the ancient tradition of kite flying.  There's no need to book for the events, just come along on the day...

KITE MAKING WORKSHOPS

For hundreds of years kites have been central to childhood and adult games and pursuits. Kite flying across the globe is synonymous with freedom, the outdoors, imagination and possibilities.
